Option 1: Playground

The Playground runs directly in the browser and needs no installation. It includes an editor, sample programs and a Marathi keyword toolbar for inserting keywords without a Marathi keyboard layout.

Option 2: Command line

With the MarathiCode source package, programs can be run from a terminal. This needs Python 3 and theply parsing library:

python -m marathi.cli program.mr

The file must end in .mr and be saved as UTF-8.
Output is written to standard output, one line per छापा.
वाचा() reads lines from standard input, so input can be typed or redirected: python -m marathi.cli program.mr < input.txt.
If the program fails, the error is written to standard error and the command exits with status 1.

The command line and the Playground implement the same language and are checked against the same set of test programs. The only difference is a Playground safety limit: a run stops after 1,000,000 loop iterations in total so the browser tab cannot freeze. In the Playground, the text typed in the Input box is what वाचा() reads.
